Briese defeats B2Pro

Dear Customers,

as many of you are aware, several years ago Briese Lichttechnik Vertriebs GmbH sued B2Pro, Mr. Brent Langton, and other defendants for infringement of Briese’s U.S. Patent No. 5,841,146, which is directed to a variable focus umbrella reflector.

We are now happy to inform you that on October 10, 2013, after a week-long trial  in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York,  a jury unanimously found that each of the defendants – including  B2Pro,  Mr.Langton, and  Mr. Langton’s  business partner, Sergio  Ortiz – willfully  infringed  Briese’s  patent  in  violation of the United
States Patent Laws.
The  unanimous  jury verdict confirms our company’s belief in protecting its intellectual property and further enables us to seek injunctive relief against all of the defendants.

As a leader in photographic lighting, Briese Lichttechnik Vertriebs GmbH values its customers and continues to bring the most innovative products to the market.
Please rest assured that when you order authorized Briese products in the U.S.,
you are ordering the very best the industry has to offer.
